NEW POP3 & SMTP SETTING:

Open your email program, example; Outlook Express. Click Tools, then click on Accounts. Your email account should already be highlited if not click on it then click Properties. Click Servers. In this window change Incoming email POP3 setting to mail.lhpo.net and change the SMTP setting to mail.lhpo.net. Make sure you DO NOT have a check mark next to "Log on using secure password authentication", Click Apply. Click the settings button next to the checked line "my server requires authentication" and make sure it has a dot next to "use same as incoming email" click OK then click Apply again if it is bolded. You are ALMOST done.
NOW click the Advanced tab and change the Outgoing SMTP setting from 25 to 26. Again Make sure you DO NOT have a check mark next to "This server requires a secure connection (SSL)" in the SMTP setting or POP area. You will now have no problems in sending/receiving email from your computer.

NOTE: In the General tab area you can change the first field where it asks for a name to identify the server to any name you want there. It most likely has pop.something there. Just change it to MY EMAIL or something. Further: Depending on how you want return mail handled set the "email address and reply address" to your {yourname}@lhpo.net address. If using nsmainst.com as a spam trap you can have it set to {yourname}@nsmainst.com. This causes all reply email to go through the nsmainst.com filters where you can then set your Approved for delivery email addresses. If NOT using the Approved for delivery method then you should set the email address and reply address to your {yourname}@lhpo.net to have it go directly to your lhpo.net box. It will still get filtered by Spam Assassin.

My appologies for the need to do all these changes. I had it all figured out where only some people had to make a minor change. So much for plans. There was no way to do this in the cross server method I was trying. You will find this new setup a million times better than the other one.
If you are using gmail.com and want to use Outlook Express, Windows Mail, Incredi Mail or some other email client to pick up and send your email, log onto your gmail email account (Click Here) and select settings and click "Forwarding and POP/IMAP". In this area go to the POP Download part of the screen and click next to "enable POP for all mail" placing a dot in the circle. Click save settings.
Now open your email program.
